How to Install Outdoor Bamboo Decking Tiles ?
Even Strand Woven Bamboo decking is engineered decking , but it is natural wood decking that will expand or contract while the environment temperature and humidity changing, , so this requires a crucial and proper installation techniques on such outdoor decking with T&G linking, and correct installation is quite important to avoid decking warp or bow or crack over years.
Important Points on Installation:
1. To place Joist on the ground ,and fix to ground with expansion bolt.
Joist can be made of Solid wood, Strand woven bamboo , Or Stainless Steel plank. Hot Dip Galvanized Steel joist
The distance between each joist normla is 465mm. Or as need but not more than 500mm.
2. To place decking on the joist , and fastern the decking into joist.
Normal the gap between 2 decking is 5-6mm.
If we want to narrow the gap between two decking,
We can tap slightly on another decking to narrow gap ,which min. Can be 3mm around.
Each Decking need 5 - 6 sets screws and clips.
3. Fastened the both decking with Tapping Screw and Clips.
